STL is among the global leaders in all its business areas of Optical Fibre, Fibre Optic Cables,Power Conductors and HV / EHV Power Cables through its operations in India, China and Brazil.

STL has two vacancies for a Channel Sales Manager. One of the roles will be responsible for Eastern Europe and the Balkans. The other will cover Central and Southern Europe.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for channel sales growth and management.
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partner's expectations.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

  • Master’s degree in Business/Finance/Marketing/Operations/Strategy.
  • Substantial business experience, including contracts and tax.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language relevant to the territory covered by the position – for instance Spanish (for the Central and Southern Europe position) or Russian/Russian-related language (for the Eastern Europe and Balkans position).
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
